The Canadian Writers Society and their CSL connection

Welcome aboard to the Canadian Writers  Society. Coordinators Rosalie Avigdor (of Cöte Saint-Luc)  and Joseph Mannella are now connected to our Parks and Recreation Department. Beginning this fall the  group will be meeting once a month on Thursday evenings (8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) in Chalet Number One of Pierre Elliot Trudeau Park (6975 Mackle Road). The official starting date will be announced soon.

The Society welcomes anyone interested in furthering their knowledge of the art of putting one’s imagination onto a written page, from unpublished writers to published authors, from doctors to lawyers to merchants to chiefs, from youngsters to oldsters and anyone in between. Yearly membership is only  $25. Plans include holding writing courses, special events, and evenings to exercise the imagination in all of us. There will also be lectures open to the public.
