With picture perfect weather,  the city of Côte Saint‑Luc  hosted its 45th Golf Classic on   July 7 at Meadowbrook Golf Course

One of the city’s longest-running summer events, the event brought together residents, volunteers, and sponsors to support the Côte Saint-Luc  Parks and Recreation Bursary Program.

With Pierre Bourbonniere, honoree Dida Berku, Jacob Kincler and Campbell Stuart.

This year’s honouree was  Dida Berku, who recently retired after 35 years on Côte Saint‑Luc City Council. She played in a foursome with her husband Jacob Kincler, friend Pierre Bourbonniere (former marketing director for Air Canada and a member of Les Amis de Meadowbrook) and former Montreal West Mayor Campbell Stuart.

With Norm Goldfield and Barry Soifer.

The event  was co‑chaired by myself and Norm Goldfield of the Men’s Club.

With Mayor David Tordjman, Alan Rabinovitch from Wexy on Wheels and Herb Zurkowsky of The Gazette.

Participants will gather for  a banquet in early September.
