Josiane Ouaknine retires after 34 years of service

Good luck to District 2 resident Josiane Ouaknine, who is retiring as a Côte Saint-Luc municipal employee after 34 years of dedicated service.

Josiane

Josiane celebrates retirement.
"I''ve known Josiane for as long as I've been with the city," commented Acting Mayor Dida Berku. "She is  very much a part of the fabric of the place and no matter where she worked she  made that department more sunny and bright.  Her smile and good nature were trademarks. We will miss her and we know the residents will  too."

Josiane has worked in many departments:  Finance,  Archives, Urban Planning, EMS, Public Safety, Purchasing, The  Aquatic and Community Centre and for the office of then Mayor and Council. In the latter capacity she was most helpful to  me. Over the last few years she has been the person to greet members of the public at City Hall, directing them to the right office as well as answering questions by phone.

I am happy to be her city councillor.
Good luck Josiane!
