Here is your first look at the proposed new Cavendish Mall property

It was standing room only at Côte Saint-Luc City  Hall, as Council held a public information meeting about the proposed plan to demolish 40 percent of the Cavendish Mall and replace it with a housing project: 38 detached single-family homes, 18 semi-detached homes, 55 townhouses, 300 senior residences, connected to the Mall (in two eight storey towers); and 40 condos or offices on top of a mixed use building (commercial at street level). There will be plenty of green space as well. Mall Managing Partner Roy Salomon predicted exciting things for the remaining commerce portion of the property,

Mike Cohen, born and raised in Côte Saint-Luc, has long been active in the community as a volunteer, journalist, and consultant. He attended local schools and was first elected as City Councillor for District 2 in 2005. Since then, he has been re-elected in each municipal election, most recently in 2025. Mike Cohen, né et élevé à Côte Saint-Luc, est depuis longtemps actif au sein de la communauté en tant que bénévole, journaliste et consultant. Il a fréquenté les écoles locales et a été élu pour la première fois conseiller municipal du district 2 en 2005. Depuis lors, il a été réélu à chaque élection municipale, la dernière fois en 2025.

  1. I would like to buy one condo if it is steel availble. How may I buy it preconstructed?
    I also would like to know if the cyty will allow the “continuation” of boul cavendish towards the 40 because of the Turcott project.
