One-stop shop for home buyers and sellers set for CSL ACC on Sun. Nov. 1

Whether you’re a first-time home buyer or a homeowner looking to downsize, you will want to be at the Côte Saint-Luc Aquatic and Community Centre on Sunday, Nov. 1 (11 am to 2 pm).

Donna Skolnick

On hand will be   11 professionals who are in the real estate and homeownership industries.   This is the second such event this year, spearheaded by residential real estate broker Donna Skolnick of Imagine Realties and  Peter Yaffe,   a seasoned businessman representing Multi Service Diamond, specializing in residential and commercial renovations. Others on the roster are mortgage broker  Guy Belanger; notary Liat Lev Ary;  Eileen Katz, who guides older adults and families through the transition to senior living ;  home inspector Carol Mose; Andrew Girvan of IA Private Wealth; Mary De Santis from MDS Estate Sales; Josh Schwartz from Meldrum the Mover; Derrick Nishmas from Monsieur Drain;  and electrician  Thomas Kreuh.

It is fairly rare that you get access to all of these experts at the same event. There is no admission price.

“We intend to hold several events a year to inform and educate the general public on what they need to know and provide them the resources and in person contact,” says Skolnick.   “ We came together to help guide people through their transitioning, whether it’s purchasing a first home, maintaining their current property, as well as downsizing. Peter and I found that there is a special need for the aging population of baby boomers to require the in-person meetings when making informed decisions on their property and downsizing which can be extremely overwhelming.   We have everyone providing the support they need so when the time comes, they feel taken care of through every step of the process.  Attached you will see the postcard which displays all of the professionals involved in this venture.  It’s a pleasure to give and serve the community with our wealth of knowledge and expertise.”

Peter Yaffe, second from the left, and his team.

Skolnick adds that this event will also appeal to the younger generations, especially the first time homebuyers.

Meldrum the Mover’s Joshua Schwartz will be on hand.

There will be a draw to win a Keurig coffee machine good.  The venue provides free parking and an elevator.
