Service at the CLSC René-Cassin will resume soon

A constituent contacted me this week to express concern that the test centre at the CSLC René-Cassin at Quartier Cavendish was closed.

Blood

People wait outside the test center.

I reached out to CIUSSS West-Central Montreal and they provided me with full story.  They aim to re-establish blood testing services  three days per week, in April. In the meantime, clients are referred to the local point of service at Décarie Square (6900 Décarie Boulevard) and other CLSCs on the territory.

The hours of operation are   Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Clients can call  514-734-9911 and obtain an appointment for any urgent (within 24-48 hours) or routine test within 10 days, free of charge. It is also possible to book an appointment online via Clic Santé . As for ear cleaning, appointments have been re-directed to CLSC Côte-des-Neiges, CLSC Parc-Extension and CLSC Métro.
