Mike Cohen, born and raised in Côte Saint-Luc, has long been active in the community as a volunteer, journalist, and consultant. He attended local schools and was first elected as City Councillor for District 2 in 2005. Since then, he has been re-elected in each municipal election, most recently in 2025.

A misunderstanding with a friend recently made me start to look closer at how my emotions affect my photography and how I use my camera to help work through them. I wish I could say that I start out with this intent, but it’s only through patterns, later, that I begin to see an underlying theme and piece together how it relates to a problem or feeling that’s bothering me.
